MITAmbiente offers a comprehensive service for the management of special waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous, taking care of all stages: from characterization and classification to packaging, collection, and transport, through to recovery and disposal.
Particular attention is dedicated to the management of professional WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), with an integrated service that includes the dismantling of equipment at the customer's site and the subsequent management of the materials.
REGULATORY ASPECTS
Environmental authorizations
MITAmbiente operates an authorized facility for the management of special waste, where activities such as temporary storage, preliminary storage, selection, sorting, and recovery are carried out.
The company is also authorized for waste transport and remediation activities, in full compliance with current environmental regulations.
Material Management Procedures
Depending on the characteristics of the material, MITAmbiente can proceed according to the following methods:
- Transport under ADR regulations;
- Directing waste to disposal or recovery;
- Dismantling, sorting, and material recovery;
- Selection and preparation for the recycling of batteries and accumulators;
- Packaging and identification of solid and liquid waste;
- Fiscal disposal;
- Certified destruction of waste.
Management of RENTRI (National Electronic Register for Waste Traceability) and MUD (Single Environmental Declaration Model).
