MITAmbiente participates at the National AIRP Conference of Radiation Protection 2023
MITAmbiente participates at the National AIRP Conference of Radiation Protection "The optimization of radiation protection in the light of the new legislation" helded from 27 to 29 September 2023 in the city of Cagliari in Italy.
During the three days, the focus was on one of the key principles of radiation protection in the light of the innovations introduced by the new legislation, in particular the definition and application of optimisation tools such as dose constraints and reference levels. The conference faced the application of optimization in all exposure situations (planned, existing and emergency) and for different exposure categories (professional, medical and public).
MITAmbiente was present as sponsor and for the occasion presented a poster entitled: "Radiometric Characterization and Remediation of soil contaminated by radionuclides (artificial and natural)".
The annual event was an important moment of discussion between experts on important and current topics in our industry.
