MITAmbiente took part in the “Czech–Italian Energy Meeting – The Future of European Energy, Energy Policies and the Nuclear Option”, held on May 21, 2026, at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Rome.

The initiative, organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade, provided an important opportunity for dialogue among Italian and Czech institutions, companies, and research centers on key topics such as the energy transition, European energy policies, and the future development of the nuclear sector.

The event brought together prominent institutional representatives from both countries, including Karel Havlíček, as well as representatives of leading companies and research organizations active in the energy and nuclear fields.

Representing MITAmbiente, Technical Director Roberto Vespa delivered a presentation entitled “Radiation and Nuclear Applications in Light of New Italian Perspectives”, highlighting the role of nuclear technologies and radiation-based applications within Italy’s evolving energy and industrial landscape.

Participation in the meeting offered a valuable opportunity for dialogue and networking with Italian and international stakeholders, encouraging the exchange of expertise and the exploration of potential areas of cooperation between the two countries in a sector of strategic importance for Europe’s energy future.

Through its participation, MITAmbiente reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the technical and scientific debate on energy and innovation, while actively engaging in major national and international discussions on the future of the sector.
