The MITAcademy journey dedicated to radiation protection continues: the new and final stop of 2026 took place in Florence.
Organized by MITAmbiente in collaboration with ANPEQ (National Professional Association of Qualified Experts in Radiation Protection), the MITAcademy training program landed in the Tuscan capital for a meeting entirely dedicated to the role of the Radiation Protection Expert.
The event, held free of charge and in person, offered a valuable space for analysis and discussion on methodologies for assessing and preventing radiological risk in the use of ionizing radiation in medical and industrial environments.
Thanks to the contributions of speakers from ANPEQ, MITAmbiente, and ISIN (National Inspectorate for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection), the day allowed attendees to closely examine new legislation and regulatory developments in radiological safety, case studies and practical evidence stemming from daily operational activities, and advanced technological solutions and methodologies for monitoring and protecting against radiation agents.
With the Florence event, MITAcademy reaffirms its mission to promote a safety culture and foster the continuous professional growth of industry operators.
In line with previous events, completion of the course entitles participants to a certificate of attendance worth 4 continuing education credits for Radiation Protection Experts.
The 2026 MITAcademy calendar concludes in Florence; given the strong interest and high attendance at every meeting, the company plans to schedule dates across Italy for 2027 as well.
