MITAcademy chose Milan for its first event in 2026.
This year, MITAmbiente, in collaboration with ANPEQ, the National Association of Qualified Radiation Protection Experts, is organizing dedicated events throughout Italy exclusively for Radiation Protection Experts.
The MITAcademy days provide participants with the tools needed to address risk assessment issues in various settings. The objective of the course, which is completely free and in person, is to provide the information needed to assess radiological risk in the use of ionizing radiation in healthcare and industrial settings. Each training session will award a certificate of participation with 4 credits for Radiation Protection Experts.
The first event was organized on March 27th in Milan in the exclusive setting of the Uptown Palace.
During the day, speakers from ANPEQ, MITAmbiente, and ISIN (National Inspectorate for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection) shared their firsthand experience and guided guests through an in-depth look at the sector.
For the occasion, the new volume promoted every year by MITAmbiente was also presented for the first time:" Radiocurosity – Anecdotes on radioactivity and ideas on radiation protection", edited by Matteo Frosini, a radiation protection expert with a degree in Physical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering who has been working in radiation protection and vibration measurement for years.
