The MITAmbiente training tour, organized in collaboration with ANPEQ (National Professional Association of Qualified Radiation Protection Experts), stopped in Bari on May 22 with a new event dedicated to Radiation Protection Experts. The event took place at the Grande Albergo delle Nazioni, a historic building overlooking the seafront of the Apulian capital.

As with every MITAacademy event, participants were awarded a certificate valid for the recognition of 4 credits for Radiation Protection Experts.

The free in-person meeting represented an important opportunity for industry professionals to update their knowledge. Throughout the day, topics related to radiological risk assessment were addressed, with in-depth discussions dedicated to the use of ionizing radiation in both healthcare and industrial settings.

Thanks to the contribution of speakers and industry experts, participants had the opportunity to explore in greater depth:

  • practical cases and operational experiences gained in the field;
  • regulatory updates related to radiological risk management;
  • Technical tools and methodologies applied to safety and radiation protection.

The Bari stop confirmed MITAacademy’s commitment to promoting a culture of radiation protection and creating opportunities for discussion among professionals.

During the event, the new volume “Radiocuriosity”, promoted by MITAmbiente, was presented with the valuable participation of Matteo Frosini, a Radiation Protection Expert with degrees in Physical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering, who has been working in radiation protection and radiation measurement for many years.
