ISIN: new Technical Guide n.36 for the transport of radioactive material in consultation

ISIN has published in consultation the proposed Technical Guide n.36 on the Radiation Protection Plan (PPR) for the transport of radioactive material, a document that represents an important step towards greater uniformity of application and regulatory certainty.

For those in the sector, PPR is a fundamental tool for risk assessment and the adoption of radiation protection measures to protect workers, the population, and the environment.

At MITAmbiente, we welcome initiatives that contribute to strengthening safety, expertise, and quality in the management and transportation of radioactive materials.

The proposed Technical Guide will remain published on the ISIN website for public consultation until August 22nd, 2026:
